Together, these organisations represent around 200 community legal centres nationally. For more information about NACLC please click here. Community legal centres (CLCs) are independent, non-profit community organisations that provide free legal services to the public. Community legal centres provide referral, advice and assistance to more than 350,000 people each year. These services are provided free of charge. Most centres receive funds from a variety of sources including state and federal governments and philanthropic organisations, but some receive no or very little funding and are staffed entirely by volunteers.
