ICT Pilot Advisory Project

Throughout 2011 NACLC undertook a pilot project named the Community Legal Centre (CLC) Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Advisory Project in the states of WA and Tasmania.

The objectives of the Pilot CLC ICT Advisory Project were:

  • to research ICT needs amongst staff of the CLCs in the pilot states
  • to improve the cost efficiency of the ICT services used by CLCs in the pilot states
  • to improve the knowledge and confidence of staff in those CLCs in accessing cost efficient suitable solutions for their ICT needs
  • to determine whether there was a need for an ongoing National CLC ICT Advisory Service, and if so, what it would look like.

The Pilot ICT Advisory Project consisted of a website and phone advice about ICT issues.
