Experiences of the police complaints system in NSW

Subtitle Survey of lawyers and community advocates
Abstract The survey aims to collect data about experiences with, and perceptions of, the NSW police complaints system, both positive and negative. Responses were collected through an online survey open to advocates working in the community and social sector, as well as lawyers. Responses closed in Dec 2011. The results will be reported in professional law and psychology journals and at scholarly conferences, and will inform recommendations about possible changes to the current system.
