This webinar provides an overview of Legal Aid Queensland’s services for people experiencing domestic and family violence and includes: • a case study exploring common legal issues experienced by women fleeing domestic violence and how Legal Aid Queensland assists them • Our integrated approach to helping clients experiencing domestic and family violence including: - referral pathways to connect vulnerable people to our services - an overview of our social work services, including court-based assistance - our legal advice, representation and court-based domestic violence duty lawyer services • the Legal Aid Queensland website — domestic violence resources and our ‘Browse Aloud’ translation tool.
