Domestic and family violence: Connecting your clients to Legal Aid Queensland’s services
Presented by Legal Aid Queensland on 27 May 2016. This webinar provides an overview of Legal Aid Queensland’s services for people experiencing domestic and family violence and includes: • a case study exploring common legal issues experienced by women fleeing domestic violence and how Legal Aid Queensland assists them • Our integrated approach to helping clients experiencing domestic and family violence including: - referral pathways to connect vulnerable people to our services - an overview of our social work services, including court-based assistance - our legal advice, representation and court-based domestic violence duty lawyer services • the Legal Aid Queensland website — domestic violence resources and our ‘Browse Aloud’ translation tool.
