Abstract

Legal Aid Queensland held a free webinar for community workers on Police powers and your rights: what community workers need to know. The session covers: - rights and responsibilities when talking with the police - what happens when someone is arrested and taken into police custody and what the police can and can’t do - general information on warrants and what to do if a warrant has been issued for arrest - getting legal help from Legal Aid Queensland.
