Swedish model of prostitution control and possibility of implementation in Victoria

Abstract

A student undertook an analysis of the regulatory framework relating to prostitution in Sweden, namely the criminalisation of purchasing sexual services as opposed to selling sexual services. The research discusses the advantages and disadvantages of implementing a similar model in Victoria.
